I’m Xiaofan Gao, an industrial designer based in Los Angeles.

I design home and lifestyle products that connect function with emotion — creating objects that bring comfort, rhythm, and meaning to everyday life.

My practice begins with close observation of user behavior and evolves through material exploration, prototyping, and manufacturing-driven thinking. I’m particularly drawn to the quiet details — where structure, tactility, and visual balance shape how a product is experienced over time.
